A Pressure Point Technique for Relieving Eye Fatigue & Preventing Eye Conditions

A Pressure Point Technique for Relieving Eye Fatigue | Preventing Eye Conditions

Pressure Point Technique

A pressure point technique that is effective for relieving eye fatigue has been revealed.
Eye fatigue caused by tension in the eye muscles is a major contributor to worsening eyesight and can lead to conditions such as dry eyes and congestion.

Knowing and practicing pressure point techniques for relieving eye fatigue regularly can greatly help in preventing these risks. Eye acupressure prevents the accumulation of eye fatigue, removes waste materials from the blood vessels, and supplies nutrients, making it effective for preventing cataracts and glaucoma as well.

One effective method for relieving eye fatigue through acupressure is to use the index and middle fingers to apply pressure to the eyes and the bones around the eyes. Start with the "Jingming" acupressure point, then press gently with your fingers on both eyes and the small indented area between the eyebrows.

It's also beneficial to press the 'Jingming' point at the end of the inner part of the eyebrows with the thumb. If you combine these pressure points with eye-rolling exercises, you can achieve even better results.

Using the palms of your hands for acupressure

is also effective in relieving fatigue. Start by taking deep breaths for about 30 seconds and then gently rub your palms together for around 30 times until friction heat is generated. Next, move your palms from the forehead bone to beside the outer corners of the eyes, under the eyes, and between the eyebrows, repeating the motion with the palms. Repeating this process more than 50 times can help alleviate eye fatigue.

It's effective to perform 25 repetitions in a clockwise direction and the remaining 25 in a counterclockwise direction. Research has shown that eye exercises activate the frontal lobes of the brain and stimulate the cerebellum, aiding brain development.

According to experiments conducted by a research team at Richard Stockton University in the United States, the group that performed 30 seconds of eye exercises generated significantly more creative ideas compared to the group that did not. This indicates that acupressure techniques for relieving eye fatigue can not only relax eye tension but also enhance creativity.

The Evolution of Intermittent Fasting   In its early days, intermittent fasting was perceived as a kind of folk remedy or just a passing trend, with many medical professionals having a negative view of intentionally skipping meals without specific reasons. However, as research on the effects of fasting on the body continued, positive perspectives on it grad...
